At the point that China is becoming the second large economy entity an economy development has entered in the “new normal” stage，the economic transformation and industrial upgrading are in full progress. As an essential part of China’s energy system，coal industry is firmly on its way of “greening”. Shenhua Group，Shandong Energy Group and China National Coal Group have been in practice of the conception of “greening” and lead the industry. Since coal is the non-renewable resource and account for high proportation in China’s primary energy consumption for a long time，the progress of “greening” in coal industry should focus on several key links in whole industry chain，such as mine site selection，development and utilization.
