The phenomenon of urban new-generation migrants is the product of China's urbanization, modernization and intergenerational differentiation. As a new generation, they have a strong will to express themselves and to be widely noted because they face the dual marginalization by both urban and rural. Searching for discourse power has become a key point of their "city dream".Starting from the perspective of discourse, this paper will generalize the status quo and tendency of the urban new-generation migrants' discourse power by analyzing the survey data we got. From an overall perspective, they are weak in the political discourse and living in the shadow of stigma. But in the tendency, they take the positive competition strategy to fight for the discourse power. And now they are being more and more concerned, becoming a representative voice that cannot be ignored. <<
