Based on the survey data, this paper attempts to propose an index system of assimilation of the Chinese new-generation white-collars. Compared with the new-generation rural workers, we believe that, as the elite group with high social economic status, white-collars are the pioneers who firstly integrated into the societies of the cities and metropolis, which makes them play an essential role in the process of urbanization. <<
