The media representation of women in politics has always been one of the important political issues. It not only influences the social recognition of women subjective identity, but also affects the public understanding and awareness of political life. By using frame analysis and textual analysis, this paper found both party-media and market-oriented media highlighted appearance and dressing of women representative in NPC and CPPCC, and repeatedly referred to the delicate nature of women, advocating the dual role of women in both family and career, and viewed women as the object in the political activities.
