The microblog,with the obvious properties of self-media,is increasingly changing people's media using habits and information disseminating modes. The women's university students are in a special mode of education.This way must affect their awareness and understanding of themselves Their surroundings.Then it will affect their uses of microblog. Taking Shandong Women's University Students as an example,this paper is in the theoretical framework of uses and gratification(U&G) and it is using the principal component analysis with varimax rotation as a tool.It discussed women's university students' reasons for using microblog and the social significance.Finally,it constructed the corresponding model on this basis. The results showed that to a certain extent,using microblog has become a "habit".It helps the women's university students to solve problems and complete tasks.It becomes the imprtant approach for the women's university students to improve their self-awareness.It also provides them a platform for expressing themselves and making friends.
