This essay discusses urban female's concept demand on digital technique and their using preference. Our analysis is based on the results of a case study on the development of information technology. This study was held in 2011,it was a survey about digital life of resident in Haidian District and Changping District in Beijing. In this essay,we uncovered the fact that urban female do not differ in understanding digital technologies and services from male. However,the general consumption length of smart phone,computer and internet is still shorter than male. We have further analyzed the features of the digital life of urban female and identified two key drivers for choices–gender division of labor and the female aura created by mainstream media. The profound social gender analysis needs to be further conducted in future researches.
