>This is a summary paper of literature review on labor force migration and rural women related publications，with 21 references，mostly from research results of China. The paper started with framework of empowerment to relate migration with rural women’s empowerment in China，introduced different approaches to gendered migration analysis，and the relationship between migration and women’s empowerment. The paper reviewed relevant analysis in China during the last decade in a wide range，about migrant women’s life，employment，marriage，reproductive health，mostly from a gender perspective. The researches will help on identify negative impact and determinants，and to contribute to eliminate the negative factors by more specific policies and more effective social interventions.
