Based on the data of the Sixth National Population Census,this article systematically analyses the process,features and some causes of the aging of population in Anhui province,and makes some predictions about its future development trend. Besides,the influence of the aging of population on Anhui population development and the socioeconomic development is discussed. And serious elder-care issues that the old population is faced with are also explained. Finally,some countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to help Anhui province deal with the aging problem. <<
