The paper first discusses the general situation of Taipei’s urban transportation，and then deeply analyzes Taipei’s transportation management system，transportation planning，public transportation system，intelligent transportation system，and road breaking management，etc. Based on these，with the combination of the aggravating contradiction between supply and demand in Guangzhou’s road transportation，the paper proposes development proposals for Guangzhou to alleviate its urban traffic jams in the future.
