The paper presents a summary for the status quo of the comprehensive development of Guangzhou’s urban transportation. Through reviewing and studying the development of Guangzhou’s transportation system，it proposes objectives and strategies for the comprehensive development of Guangzhou’s transportation system，and preliminarily presents the key construction projects to be implemented in the next stage，which provides references for the establishment and development of comprehensive transportation system stated in “the thirteenth five-year plan”.
