By rapid economic growth and vibrant reforms，Africa has been the focus of worldwide attention since 2000. As a result，a series of structural changes benefiting future economic transformation have been achieved，including diversifying economic growth engines，rapid urbanization and enlarged middle class，improving business environment and better social development indicators. However，these developments have not achieved substantial economic structural transformation and inclusive growth so far. Economic development in Africa still faces daunting challenges. To this end，African countries have committed to economic structural transformation as the core of their future development strategy，while China and other foreign investors may play a positive role in this process.
