In 2014，the NPC Standing Committee and the State Council of China continually and positively carried out human rights related legislative activities. As a result，several laws and regulations that having significant influence on human rights were enacted or amended. In particular，the legislation on administrative proceedings，environmental protection and social assistance has made remarkable development. In consideration of the unfinished tasks on human rights related legislation as well as the inadequacy and inappropriateness of the contents of some enacted or amended laws and regulations，both the NPC Standing Committee and the State Council still need to take necessary and effective measures to strengthen and improve their human rights related legislation works.
