The report evaluated the demonstration project on “improving mechanism of social security of land-expropriated farmers” which was launched inJiangsu province in 2013. The report’s evaluation and analysis are mainly from three aspects：achievement of eight objectives set；achievement of overall objectives about making sure of their participation in the social security before expropriating the farmers’ land；project generalizability. The report also reveals the problems on demonstration work itself and social security policy of land-expropriated farmers，and makes suggestions on improving demonstration policy，spreading demonstration experience，improving social security policy of land-expropriated farmers.
