The indicator system of eco-city construction is not only a primary way transforming eco-city content into operational objectives,but more importantly,a tool of urban personalized ecological construction and management.The differences between the cities determine that the indicator systems of eco-city should reflect the personalities and characters of the cities.Content and features of eco-city and the relevant national policies are analyzed in this paper.As a case of Xiamen City,ecological construction of its natural,economic and social situation is analyzed too.The indicator system of eco-city construction,integrating eco-city commonness and Xiamen characteristics,is brought based on the analysis,which can be used to clear the priority areas of eco-city construction,thereby providing decision making based on implementation of sustainable development strategies for the city. <<
