In the context of the national ecological civilization construction and the implementation of the new Law of Environmental Protection，the requirement on green development of Chinese enterprises is increasingly high. Based on the summary of the previous research on green development，this report proposes the connotation of the enterprise green development，and constructs an evaluation index system of the green development of Chinese enterprises from three dimensions including the green management，the green products and technology，as well as the energy saving and environmental protection performance. The green development of Chinese enterprises is evaluated with the environmental report data in the enterprises social responsibility reports. Evaluation results show that，the traditional “three high” enterprises and enterprises producing green productions，like chemical industry，metal smelting，green building，green appliances，green finance，outperformance their counterparts in green development. The report deeply analyzes the characteristics of the green development of 12 industries，such as chemical industry and real estate. The report also points out that under the current situation，the future green development of Chinese enterprises will exhibit generalized，strict and standardized trend，the initiatives of green development will be more innovative and diversified，and the integration of green development and wisdom development will be the main theme of China’s economic transformation and upgrading. Finally，the report proposes that Chinese enterprises should enhance green development from improving Green Management System，promoting R&D of green products，enhancing the green production，improving the supporting system of green development，and actively participating in green and public welfare.
