Based on the exploration of rural social work practice in Jiangxi and Hunan，this article makes a deep reflection on several specific issues such as grass-roots service delivering model，agency construction in the processing of rural social work development，public finance and resource distribution.All the discussions are focusing on how to establish the rural social work developmental model with Chinese characteristic.Along with the reflection，the author also puts forward some policy recommendations.
