The poor single parent is a special group in city. The group is not only poor in matter but also poor in mind and psychology. The group has not stable job and only get lower income，some of them have not any income. Meanwhile single poor parent lack social sustain network. Social work could help the group by policy promoting，job assisting，consulting，social network constructing and so on. The rainbow project is trying to help the group by social work ways in Nanjing city.
