With the changes of the times youth participation presents the distinctcharacteristics and rules.At the same time youth participation in social change and social development is diverse. At present，in Guangzhou while the youth political consciousness raising and participation behavior reinforced，the way of political participation is limited.the youth’s social participation is active such as the increasing number of the community involvement and becoming volunteers.Nevertheless the development of social organizations is not yet standard and the developmentmechanism of t voluntary is not yet perfect.All these interfere with the youth’s social participation.Therefore the system of political participation should be further improvedand the space of social participation should be further broadened.
