Massive history left an extremely rich historical and cultural heritage for Luoyang. In 2014，the protection of grand ruins and relics was fruitful. Only grasping the characteristics of Luoyang grand ruins and relics，thinking much of the issues in protection and display work，dealing with well the relationship between protection and utilization，increasing the investment，and innovating ways and means can continue to do well protection and display work of grand ruins and relics，and can further highlight characteristics of the city，enhance the city’s cultural soft power，push the construction of Luoyang central plains economic zone as the demonstration plot of sub-center urban culture.
