As the reform and opening-up strengthen step by step, the imbalance of the relationship between urban and rural areas has increasingly become the deep prominent problem, which is hindering the modernization process and the construction of well-off society in all-round way of our country. However, for the separate development of urban and rural areas, the development of balancing urban and rural areas cannot achieve in a true meaning fundamentally. On the basis of reviewing and analyzing the related literature of balancing urban and rural development, we consider pushing greatly urbanization construction as implementing the key point of balancing urban and rural development. Then, we discuss the problem in details from three aspects. The first one is why the urbanization construction is the key point of the achievement of balancing urban and rural development. And the second one is what difficulties we will face while pushing the urbanization construction. The last one is the specific measure in pushing the urbanization construction. <<
