Yuexiu District of Guangzhou City attempts to accelerate the construction of “Volunteer of the area”. It is facing problems on regular running，motivation and long-term mechanism of volunteer service. It is suggested to establish a certification examination system，improve the financial security system，build an activity platform，expand the volunteer team，create special projects and so forth to optimize and improve volunteer service. It is also suggested to from a mode of “mechanism + platform + team + project” to continuously expand its volunteer services.
