女书文学在吟诵的基础上创作,吟诵是女书的创作方式。女书吟诵在新中国成立后基本消逝。20世纪80年代后,专家学者介入,女书的歌唱开始多于吟诵,因为吟诵难学,很难表达出韵味,而歌唱的音乐性强,容易被接受。随着吟诵的没落,女书的创作也如一潭死水,女书创作失去了其赖以生存的基础。如何保护和传承女书吟诵成为女书保护的当务之急。
<<The creation of nvshu literature was based on recital,which was the way of creation. However,nvshu recital had been died after liberation in 1949. The number of nvshu singing exceeded recital after 1980s because of the participation of experts. The singing of nvshu had very strong music flavor,in the other hand,recital was hard to learn and be expressed by women. Along with the decline of nvshu recital,the nvshu creation was lost of the basis of life. How to protect and inherit the nvshu recital became the matter of top priority.
