As a representation of national minorities’ ICH in Gansu，Linxia brick carving is rich in cultural connotation；however，it is faced with decaying for the lack of government’s support and the insufficiency of protection and inheritance. In order to protect Linxia brick carving well，the intangible cultural heritage protection should be connected with tangible cultural heritage，which means the promotion of the propagandizing and exhibition of Linxia brick carving by the use of tangible cultural heritage，the borrowing of the successful experience of Dunhuang，and the application of digital technology.
