The ancient times Yi hero ZhiGe Alu was a historical figure who assembled in him the tribe king，Bimo and astronomy calendar. Because of his historic feat and historical status far beyond one’s reach，the people put the ideal and wish concentrate on him，created many miraculous touching fairy tales，and put him as god in process of him stories spreading. The ZhiGe Alu epic has spread with many forms from Yunnan，Sichuan，Guizhou province where Yi people area. There were different editions which has self characters with distinctive features and important value. On protection and inheritance this epic，although it had more work，inherit situation were still severe，need comprehensively and scientifically protect and inherit the epic works，the inheritor，the inherit means，with to declare the project and so on the many kinds of methods and measures.
