Evaluation on the implementation of the previous round of land rearrangement planning is one of the important analysis and research content for compiling this round of the state-level（or municipal）land rearrangement planning. Taking Dehong Dai-Jingpo autonomous prefecture of Yunnan province for example，which located in China’s southwest frontier mountainous area，this study has summarized the experiences of land rearrangement in Dehong during the period of “11th five-year plan” according to the rules of “Guideline for municipal land rearrangement planning”；analysed and evaluated the implementation situation of target and task of the previous round of land rearrangement planning in Dehong Prefecture，the focus is on the task of supplementary farmland，the objectives of farmand requisition-compensation balance，and key projects；evaluated the economic benefit，social benefit and ecological benefit for the implementation of the previous round of Dehong Prefecture’s land rearrangement planning；And put forward the advices of compiling this round of the state-level（or municipal）land rearrangement planning. This study would not only provide scientific basis for compiling “Land Rearrangement Planning（2011-2015）in Dehong Dai-Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture”，but also provide an example and reference for analysing and evaluating the implementation of the previous round of land rearrangement planning at state（municipal）level in other related regions.
