Based on the market share,trade competitiveness index,revealed comparative advantage index,and quality competitiveness index,the paper concluded that the international competitiveness of the Chinese ship building industry is strong. China is the largest ship building country,the international market share has increased steadily since 2000,takes about 1/4 share of the global market.This paper analyzed the Chinese ship building industrial value chain and the factors that affect the competitiveness of this industry. It's found that China's ship building industry has certain advantages in manufacturing,but needs to be strengthened in the upperstrem and the downstrem competition. <<
