Based on the market share,trade competitiveness index,revealed comparative advantage index,and quality competitiveness index,the paper concluded that the international competitiveness of the Chinese pharmaceutical industry is very low. China is a net importer of pharmaceutical products,the international market share is very low,and most export products are pharmaceutical raw materials,exports in high-end medicines are almost zero. This paper analyzed the Chinese pharmaceutical industry in the global value chain and found that the Pharmaceutical industrial competitiveness is very low in upstream, midstream and downstrem of industrial value chain. <<
