Competitiveness of China's industries in 2012 remained on an upward,but comparing to the industry's most competitive period of U.S,there is still a wide gap between China and U.S. In recent years,the technological competitiveness of Chinese industries has been growing and moving from the edge to the center of the global product space,but the sophistication of export products still stay behind the 30 th among more than 100 countries and there is still big gap between China and the developed countries. The competitiveness of some of the traditional advantageous industries,emerging advantageous industries relies on the components imported. Among traditional competitive industries,the advanced products are not so much competitive. China will face complex and changing situations in 2013,but the industrial competitiveness will remain on an upward,and the technology competitiveness of China's industries will be further enhanced with strong competitive pressures from the developed countries. <<
