China has been recently suffering from a peak of environmental pollution accidents, occurred with the heavy industrialization and urbanization through gradual economic development and reform. It is undeniably that environmental pollution accidents result tremendous damages to ecology and nature, and lead various negative impacts on society, economy, and humanity too.Therefore, capacity in environmental crisis management, especially in environmental emergencies, has already been considered as one of the most crucial abilities and functions of the governments at all levels.The management of environmental accidents is undoubtedly both the pivotal role and the carrier of environmental crisis management. And this paper herein provided proper suggestions to policy-making through the analysis of the situations and problems of domestic environmental crisis management in 2012. <<
