The traffic congestion has become a serious social problems,which attracts much attention from the public and the academic circle.Through investigating some foreign auto restraint policies,we aim to provide some successful experience and lessons for us.First the auto restraint policies are divided into three ideal types,and we investigate the benefit,cost,and effects of each type.Second,we introduce some auto policies of various countries,especially the Boston and London's cases.Third,we show the situation of China's traffic,then we discuss the enlightenment of the foreign auto restraint policies. <<
