Since 2014，the Western Taiwan Straits Economic Zone with Fujian province as the main body has fully implemented a series of policies and measures issued by the Central Government to support the economic and social development，and the economic growth of the whole province has been slow but steady. Due to the adverse impacts of the increasingly large domestic economic downturn，the growth rate of major economic indicators has declined as compared with the corresponding period of 2013. Hence，it is suggested to accelerate the scientific development and leap-forward development as a central mission of the province， deepen reforms in an all-round way，strive for coordinated development in economic growth rate，structure，quality and environment and raise the economic comprehensive strength up to a new level. <<
