Legislative work in the Macao SAR has achieved remarkable results in 2013-2014. The Legislative Assembly has approved a series of major legislation that had been under preparation for a long time. To facilitate description，this article firstly introduces the legislative function and procedures of the Legislative Assembly in 2013-2014，and then provides a detailed account on the legislation approved by the Assembly in the same year as well as some principal legislation.
