From the medium-term perspective，the economic growth in China is still at a stage with strategic opportunities. Many existing favorable conditions as well as positive factors are beneficial to retain a relatively fast growth rate. However，the challenges we face are graver than before. Due to the influence of both supply and demand，the economic growth rate is inclined to decrease. The periodic changes have raised new challenges for the medium-term steady growth objective. The coping strategy is to cultivate new driving forces for economic growth，of which the core is to center on improving the quality and efficiency of economic growth，combine steadying growth，adjusting structure and promoting reform together so as to give impetus to the economic transition. The superposition of reform dividends，potential of domestic demand and innovation vigor will form the new power of economic growth. The improvement of quality and efficiency，employment and income，environmental protection and resource conservation will lead to an upgraded version of Chinese economy.
