Being famous of its biodiversity and ecological environment in China，Sichuan is also the priority region of ecological civilization construction in the country. This paper presents the state of ecological environment，pressures，and attempts made by both the governments and civil society toward to ecological construction in the province. Although having not drawn a simple conclusion，this paper devotes to assist readers to make their own judgments by providing mega-data scattered in different departments or organizations and systematically analyzed information. Furthermore，it also hopes to enhance readers’ enthusiasm and interests on participating in Sichuan’s ecological construction. Lastly，addressing to the three main constrains of ecological construction in Sichuan，namely lack of awareness，behind mechanism and institutions and low participation from the public，this paper suggests 27 points for future improvement and calls for pool efforts from the whole society.
