This report reviews the historical development，current situation and achievements of legal aid in Sichuan Province. After many years of development，Sichuan Province has developed a legal aid system with the relevant laws，administrative rules and regulations，and normative documents as its main body. Legal aid agencies throughout the province have adopted various measures for facilitating people’s access to justice，improving the quality of legal aid services，strengthening the legal aid work in the fields of criminal and civil laws，and continuously reinforcing the material safeguards for legal aid and building the rank of legal aid workers in the whole province.
