In 2005，Sichuan Province carried out the first social stability risk assessment in China. Since then，it has exerted itself in innovating the work of social stability risk assessment，adopted the first provincial-level government regulations and Party regulations on social stability risk assessment in the country，and initiated in 2014 the legislative process of adoption of the Regulations of Sichuan Province on Social Stability Risk Assessment，and continuously propelled the process of bringing social stability risk assessment under the rule of law. In light of the existing problems in the work of social stability risk assessment，this report puts forward suggestions on further improvement of social stability risk assessment by building a theoretical system，establishing a sound system of work，implementing the responsibility system，and constructing a legal system of social stability risk assessment.
