Forests are the main parts in terrestrial ecosystems，as well as in ecological construction and protection. And they are also the main positions of construction of ecological civilization and harmony between human and nature. Till now，the forestry development and ecological province construction in Henan province have been some successful practice and exploration. However，there but in are still many problems existed in the total amount of forest resources，the ecological environment protection and forestry industrialization. In the paper，in order to achieve economic-social sustainable development，we propose to strengthen the focus on the construction of forestry ecological province，the recovery of ecological fragile zone，forestry industrialization development and forestry legal system constructions in Henan province.
