The paper reviews the establishment and evolution of global economic governance system.It then studies the latest developments of the main international intergovernmental organizations and forecast the developing direction of the international governance system.Here were the basic conclusions:The current global economic governance system had fundamental flaws.The old idea of governance can not meet the needs of the emerging markets.However,the new general idea and mechanisms of governance which have become consensus between the emerging markets and the developed countries were absent,making it difficult for the specialized economic governance institutions to deal with global issues effectively.Fortunately,the regional and trans-regional economic governance mechanisms were beneficial supplements to the current faulty global economic governance system. <<
