During the process of transformation and updating from a conventional agriculture town to modern industry town，Yuzui Town keeps improving public cultural service system and gives rein to culture’s promoting effects in the course of urbanization.Making use of such public cultural fronts as cultural square，cultural activity center，community cultural room，and famer’s bookstore，the cultural station developed competition of square dance and shadowboxing，and artistic performance in communities. Besides，in the communities where rural residents become urban residents，the station actively explores new ways of developing community culture；helps the residents build psychological identification and improve living habit；guides the residents who lost their lands to integrate into the community and adapt the urban life style. To address the problems of shortage of funds and art talents，and the generally low-level activity，this report proposes some suggestion，hoping to make some contribution to the study of how the public cultural service follows up the process of urbanization，and of how to promote the residential culture transition.
