Chongqing library is one of the first national key ancient books protection units and national first-level library rated by national Ministry of Culture，and it is also model base of nationwide reading，Chongqing civilized unit，and Chongqing popular science base with influential collection characteristics. This report introduces theoverall situation of the library，financial income and expense in 2013，and its work on basic service，external communication，and academicresearched. Through the analysis of a series of data，we can see the achievements of 2013，as well as problems，and proposes some suggestion on financial investment，multiple funds source，talent cultivation. In the meanwhile，the report also puts forward the work plan and appropriation budget，hoping to promote the steady development of Chongqing library.
