Jinan library is a national-level comprehensive public library. Since the new library opening to the public on October 11^th，2013，the library has successfully fulfilled all the work tasks and achieved favorable achievement.This report focus on the overall information，history，financial investment，operating expenditure of the library，and reviews the performance of the library in 2013，as well as points out the existing problems and their solutions. Based on the review，the report also proposes the work plan and development proposal of 2014，aiming to build library as Jinan’s “city name card”，civil “spiritual home”，and make greater contribution to public cultural service system.
