In this article，the urbanization developing situation in China’s eastern，central，western and northeast regions since the beginning year of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan will be analyzed through three respects as follows：the changes of urban population，the changes of urbanization rate and the urban municipal infrastructure construction. Following this analysis，it is also given an outlook for the development tendency of the regional urbanization during the period of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan.
