In the first half of 2014，the economic growth rate in Sichuan’s northeastern area is higher than the average level in Sichuan province，increased by 8.88% from a year earlier，faster than the average growth rate of 0.38% in Sichuan province. With the industrial structure improvement，shrinking trend of urban and rural differences，the overall economic quality improvement，general economic development level is still lag behind compared with the whole Sichuan. With the Development Plan of Sichuan’s Northeastern Economic Area came into being，changes of national incentive policies and macro control，Northeastern Economic Zone is expected to maintain slow growth rate and steady growth of economic indicators.
