This paper reviews and analyzes the basic features of the social economic operation from January to September 2014 in Sichuan minority areas，also comments on the policies and measures taken to deepen the economic and social development in these areas. Based on this，the paper points the main problems existed in the economic and social development of ethnic regions in Sichuan. Finally it prospects the major measures which will be taken on the socio-economic development in Sichuan’s minority areas in 2015.
