This article describes current situation of self-independent innovation in large and medium-sized industrial enterprise in Sichuan province from these aspects：first enterprises with R&D activities，R&D investment，R&D spending，R&D project，R&D，production of new products，technology innovation and patent application and authorization，and then use the factor analysis method to make empirical analysis of self-independent innovation in large and medium-sized industrial enterprises in Sichuan province，finally puts forward some countermeasure to promote self-independent innovation in large and medium-sized industrial enterprises in Sichuan province.
