In 2014，the foreign trade of Sichuan province has witnessed a momentum of stable and rapid growth，with further optimized trade structure，speedy development of private enterprises，and enhanced drag force by key areas. Sichuan export-import growth rate leads among Economic Big Provinces，higher than the national average level. However，Sichuan also faces a lot of pressure，such as slowly recovery of external demand，prevalent global trade protectionism，and weak competitiveness of local enterprises. Sichuan should insistently put foreign trade’s “steady growth” in the first place，adjust the trade structure and transfer trade development mode，promote the implementation of policies and measures，spare no effort to cultivate the export-oriented industries and enterprises，so as to create new competitive advantages of Sichuan’s open economy.
