<<Urban consumers,referring to the whole consumers a city severed directly and indirectly,is a new concept of city marketing. This article tries to conduct a statistical study about urban consumer on both quantity and quality and construct an evaluation index system for urban development,so that the concept of urban consumer would guide the practice better. Through providing a new perspective for urban development evaluation under the background of new-type urbanization,this article has significant value for city management and investment of governments and enterprises.
