Women’s life expectancy and health status are found to be improved after analyzing the data of health statistics from 2011 to 2013 in Fujian. It also shows that health services，maternal and children’s health as well as social security towards women have made remarkable progress during 2011-2013 in Fujian. However，women’s health status is facing challenges caused by the rapid changing of economic and social development in Fujian. For instance，we find the increasing tendency of prevalence of breast and cervical cancer as well as sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS among women in Fujian. The regional differences of women’s health also exists in Fujian. Finally，the mechanism and strategy to solve the current problems of Fujian women’s health are discussed in this study.
