Within the market economy system, commercial bribery has abetted illicit competition, wasted social resources, disturbed regular market order and impeded the healthy development of our economy. It is now a global problem and has spread to all fields of life such as business, politics, education and health care. In recent years, Chinese government has placed strict countermeasures on commercial bribery which, to some extent, suppresses the occurrence of commercial bribery. This report analyzes the current situation, causes and menaces of commercial bribery, and then makes some suggestions and measures on how to combat bribery and corruption. <<
