From 2009 to 2011, Chinese corporate citizenship development has kept on progressing steadily. Innovation and development has been made on the perspectives of major participants, practice mode and performance, and the practice mode of multiple major participants, multilevel and wide cooperative areas have been realized. But the following problems are still hindering the development of corporate citizenship; imbalance is very common under the compulsive regulations, some enterprises' citizenship development is complete, inconsistent and tagging; the quantity and quality of corporate citizenship report is optimistic; some enterprises' illegal activities not only harm the interests of others, but also get criticized by the public.The cause for all these problems is that the enterprises haven't fully acknowledged the implication of corporate citizenship. What the corporate citizenship emphasizes is the integration of commercial value, environmental value and social value. Only by the cooperation between government and enterprises can we achieve the long term growth of enterprise citizenship idea and practice in China. <<
